It's been growing slowly over time, and my living room has been a wreckage of boxes, bubble wrap, and packing peanuts for a very long time. I squirrel away a small amount of money each paycheque for discretionary spending, but my beauty fund is currently a smoking ruin.
Somehow it looks even larger in person, I swear. |
- This is a collection of many hauls, including things I have completely emptied and repurchased. I do not normally buy multiples of products unless they're a staple and I'm tired of overpaying for emergency resupplies.
- I only ever introduce one new product at a time, and I don't open things until I am ready to start using it.
- I test it for at least two weeks minimum before introducing another product
- I test things for a minimum of a month before I review them, sometimes longer if I feel I need to put it aside and come back to it later, or combine it with different things to gauge its effects
- In the case of whitening items, you need 3-6 months of testing to gauge its effects.
It also takes me weeks, if not months, to build a large haul; I research things exhaustively, I consider if there is a 'gap' in my routine a product will fill or if it's redundant, I discuss it with people, I meditate on it. Ok, my meditation involves long hours of browsing Korean sites with the aid of Google Translate, but the point is, I don't act fast.
In fact, as you will see, quite a few things are repurchases as I completely emptied several products and had to replace them while Haulzilla was ... hatching.
Newcre8tive ebay haul:

Mizon AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner: I bought this + the matching serum as a kit, which was the primary reason for this haul. I had been reading about AHAs and BHAs and was ready to give chemical exfoliation a try. As you can see, this bottle of toner is completely empty now, (later you will see I'm already half done my second bottle) and this serum is nearly empty now as well.
Mizon AHA 8% Peeling Serum: See above.
Mizon Correct Essential Activator: I already had the matching CC cream, and wanted to see if the CC cream was improved by the Activator. It was also $11, which was the lowest price I've seen, so I threw it in with my order. This is low priority on the testing schedule, which is currently booked solid for the next 14 weeks. (I warned you I introduce things slowly and in isolation!)
Mizon 10vely Secret Concealer This concealer is supposed to help acne heal and control sebum, which intrigued me. I have only one concealer right now, from Mac, and it's getting close to time to toss it out. I have not had a chance to fully test this yet, but I'd say it's around an NC20 and a bit dark on me.

Mizon Skin Turn Around Pore Refine Deep Cleansing Foam: I wanted to explore some alternatives to the Shiseido Perfect Whip, which was too high in pH. Spoilers: this one is too.
Mizon Snail Repairing Foam Cleanser: See above. Click here for review. This tube is now completely empty, but as I mention in the review, I will not be repurchasing it.
Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream: aka The Precious. My HG light moisturizer, this was a replacement as I had run out, and it too is now empty. Click here for review. As you can see, this tube has had every drop of The Precious wrung from it like an old toothpaste tube.
Mizon Oh! Shy Touch-Like Moisture Layered Pact SPF30 PA++ 21. Bright Skin Beige: I wanted a face powder that would allow me to adjust the shade of too-dark BB creams, and I was intrigued by the concept of a powder infused with moisture, which I had seen on a few episodes of Get It Beauty (a popular Korean beauty talk show). I purchased it in the lightest of two shades.
The Face Shop Clean Face Oil Free BB Cream: Although I love my Mizon Snail Repair BB cream (click here for review) it's actually a shade too dark for me. Although my face is around NC20 in places due to sun damage and hyperpigmentation, my neck is easily 2-3 shades lighter (if they made such a thing, it would be NC5 or NC10), giving me the dreaded 'reverse eagle'. Also, I had the itch to try a new BB cream. You all know that itch, don't judge. I was intrigued to see if it would help with acne and sebum control, and supposedly has a more matte finish.

Etude I Need You, Green Tea! Mask Sheet x2: Sheet masks. Green tea is supposed to be very good for the skin, and soothing/reduces irritation.
Etude I Need You, Pomegranate! Mask Sheet x2: Sheet masks. I haven't tried Pomegranate masks before, and I like to get two in case I like them enough to retry them and confirm their results, if any.
Innisfree It's Real Mask in Green Tea x2: Sheet masks. Why do I need 2 brands of green tea masks? Why to compare and contrast them of course!
Innisfree It's Real Mask in Manuka Honey x2: Sheet masks. Honey is a popular beauty ingredient, I trust I don't have to get into this too much.
Innisfree It's Real Rice Mask x2: Sheet masks. I am very intrigued by the supposed beauty benefits of rice, as it's a very popular ingredient in Japanese skin care especially, and I've heard of people reserving the final rinse water from their rice and keep that for beauty purposes.
Innisfree Vital essential C mask lemon 1+1: (meaning it comes with two): sheet masks. One time use, cheap, effective, and you can never have too many. This one is for 'brightening'
Missha Soft Jelly Cleansing Puff Konjac Sponge- White Clay: Toot, toot, all aboard the konjac sponge bandwagon! I have been using this one since it arrived, so you're seeing it still damp from when I used it this morning.
Missha Soft Jelly Cleansing Puff Konjac Sponge- Charcoal: Since konjacs have a short shelf life and I wasn't sure which one I wanted to get, I got both. They were cheap, and were lightweight in terms of shipping, don't judge me!
Skin79 Super Plus Beblesh Balm Triple Functions Green SPF30 PA++ (deluxe sample): Skin79, whose classic Hot Pink BB cream was many a newcomer's first foray into Asian products, has expanded their line of BB creams to include a wider range of skintones. The Green is supposed to be their lightest shade yet. I have tried this once and I'm suspicious it broke me out, but I'm on a strict testing regimen right now so it's going to have to wait. I will eventually swatch and review it, however!
Skinfood Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder: Like I mentioned earlier, I was looking for powders but wanted one that added no colour and was strictly for oil control. Both this one and the Innisfree No Sebum powder have rave reviews, but the packaging and peach scent of this one won me over.
Su:m37˚ Water Full Timeless Water Gel Cream 1ml samples x10: Su:m37 is a very expensive prestige/hanbang brand, and getting things in sample sizes lets me explore their offerings without exploding my wallet. For more info on how to get expensive brands for cheap via samples, such as a $100+ cream for $12.50, see my math breakdown here. This did come with 10, but I have already used all but 3.
Tonymoly Tangerine Whitening Hand Cream: A repurchase for my mom, because she says it fades the age spots on her hands. I love my mom, ergo I buy things for her. I just forget to ship them to her ... for months at a time. Oops. (Sorry mom!)
Missha US haul (US seller):
I had to turn off the flash to get this shot, because it wasn't playing nice with the reflective material. Sorry it looks so dingy/dark! |

Missha Special Edition Magic Cushion Case: Since this was a Limited Edition item, there is no product page for me to link, so I have linked my review. As I explain in detail there, I was looking for a way to test out the cushion craze without ending up with a dud product. And it was pretty. So pretty.
I also purchased a spare puff so I could alternate them as I cleaned them.

3M Nexcare Acne Dressing Pimple Stickers Patch Combo: I wanted to give hydrocolloid bandages a try after seeing these recommended as being better than the American versions.
3M Nexcare Acne Dressing Pimple Stickers Patch Combo & Oily Skin: I wanted to give both types a try. You can read my review of them here. I used them all and repurchased them both.
They also sent me samples, which unfortunately got mixed up with the samples of my repurchase of these two items, which made me quite angry as I've been putting a lot of effort into keeping things with their original order.
Avecko haul:

Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick: What to say. It's a luxurious, low-pH, foaming cleanser. It's hard to find. It's supposedly starting to slowly become restocked in Korea. You can read more about it in the mini haul review I did on Avecko here.
Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil in 'Moisture' After seeing this recommended on Get It Beauty and in a rush to find something to flesh out my cart, I snagged this as I needed a new cleansing oil that was more gentle than the ones I had. As you can see, I have been using the cleansing oil and it's very effective, but seem to have issues with oil cleansers breaking me out and so my HG oil cleanser search continues.

Mizon Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule: I was out and needed to replace it. I really need to review this .. I think I've purchased 5 or 6 of them at this point. I emptied this bottle and am half done it's successor.
Mizon All-In-One Snail Repair Cream (tube size): To be honest, I purchased this because it was one of the few Mizon snail products I haven't tried. As you can see from the empty tube, I liked it, and it reappears as a repurchase a few times in the growing cycle of Haulzilla.
Mizon Returning Starfish Cream Sample x10: Snails, always. Starfish, why not? I suspect these were actually 3ml sample sizes because each packet had enough product for me to use it twice a day for at least two, sometimes 3 days. I actually used all the 10 packets I had, but must have gotten these as random samples from another haul.

Mizon AHA 8% Peeling Serum x3: You see, a terrible thing happened between my ebay haul where I purchased the Mizon AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner + the serum for $30 together. Suddenly, halfway through my toner bottle, the price for the toner alone started to spike as high as $130, and it was out of stock everywhere.
Sellers were claiming it was discontinued, that it was no longer sold in Korea, that it was only available in duty free shops; rumours flew thick and fast. I had completely fallen in love with both the toner and the serum, and with the toner no longer available and the serum selling out everywhere and prices rising, I panicked. I purchased 3 backups so if disaster struck, I would still have some. Thankfully, a few weeks after I received my back ups, the toner and the serum both came back in stock, so crisis averted!

Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick: If you're looking at the dates and thinking "did she buy a back up stick 2 days after receiving the last one?!" you would be correct. Um. Yeah. By the way, topinkgirl's stock is older than my Avecko stick (hers predates when it went out of stock, and Avecko's is new stock) so be aware that since it is a soap-like product with natural ingredients (such as rose oil) it will age over time and may change consistency/action/scent. I do believe her stock is authentic, and it did pH test the same, but some people have reported that their sticks from her are more 'soapy' and do not have as strong a scent. I believe this is because her stock has 'aged' whereas the next stock being produced is still fresh with all its rose-y glory.
Topinkgirl also sent me samples which I misplaced, much to my annoyance. Haulzilla has been in various pieces around my apartment for so long, it's been hard to keep everything isolated.

Mizon Snail Repair Intensive Ampoule: Replacement repurchase. I was getting low and needed a back up, as my RRS haul-that-cancelled had to be redone. I am currently halfway through this bottle.
Mizon All-In-One Snail Repair Cream (tube size): Replacement repurchase. I liked it enough to keep testing it, and have emptied this tube completely.
Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream: Emergency replacement; I ran out of The Precious and I was desperate! Costsell is more expensive than buying from Korea, but I NEEDED MY SNAILS! I need my snails every day, twice a day, so I'm already finished this tube as well.

3M Nexcare Acne Dressing Pimple Stickers Patch Combo: Repurchase, I will keep both of these stocked in my bathroom from now on, unless I find something I like better.
3M Nexcare Acne Dressing Pimple Stickers Patch Combo & Oily Skin: Repurchase, see above.
While I was taking these photos, I discovered the Oily version comes with a set of tiny pink plastic tweezers! How cool is that?
A very kind and busy acquaintance in Korea haul:
A'Pieu NonCo Tea Tree Spot Patch: I have not yet received these as a kindly person, with a real life outside of sending beauty products to her deranged US peeps, went to an actual A'pieu store, bought me some of these, and mailed them to me when she could spare the time from her hectic life, and I am very grateful! I bribed her with coffee money. What a sweetheart. They'll get here when they get here; I'm in no rush.

Now, before you look at this haul and freak, TK was running a 30% paypal cash back promo when I made this order, which meant that I basically got 30% off everything. Also, the vast majority of this order is samples, not full sizes.
Etude House Color Pop Tint Mini in P12: I absolutely adored this colour in swatches on and don't have anything like it.
Etude House face Color Corset in 05 Tight Shading Corset: I was looking for a matte contour colour that would suit light skin. Silly me, I went off the pictures online and the lighter contour shade looked more like a highlighter, so I got 05 instead of 04. It's way, way too dark. This is more suited to NC25-35. I'll have to resell it.
Etude House Kissful Tint Chou in Tangerine Chou: Korea is obsessed with orange as a lip alternative to pink, and I wanted to try something subtle. Do not want 70's Brigitte Bardot; it's not a look I can pull off.
Hanyul Best 5 Items (deluxe sample kit): Not pictured, because I have no clue where the heck it is. This is actually for my mom. I had wanted to get her a Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick, but they're still at outrageous prices and/or from old stock or shady sellers. I decided to compensate by getting her at least the same $$ in prestige/hanbang samples for her to try. If she falls in love with something, I'll just source it for her and ship it to her directly from now on.
Hanyul Optimizing Serum 1mlx10: Also for my mom. I have heard rave reviews about this serum, especially for aging skin, and since Winter Is Coming (and she still lives up in Canada) I wanted to send her some nourishing skincare to help her fend off the effects of the weather.
Holika Holika Jewel Light Shimmer Eyes in SBE02: I was looking for an Urban Decay in Sin dupe, hopefully it's close; I will be reviewing it eventually and posting comparison swatches to Sin.
Holika Holika Jewel Light Shimmer Eyes in SPP03: I was looking for a nice brown or purple shadow and this looked like it might work.
Innisfree It's Real Mask in Green Tea x2: Sheet masks.
Innisfree It's Real Mask in Manuka Honey x2: More sheet masks.
Innisfree It's Real Mask in Rice x2: Look you can never have too many sheet masks, alright?
Innisfree Jejubija Anti-trouble Spot Patch 12 pcs x2: I absolutely love the Asian version of the 3M acne stickers, but they're expensive. I'm checking out other, more affordable options.
Innisfree Apple Juicy Lip & Eye Remover: I like oil cleansers for removing sunscreen and makeup, but they burn my eyes. I'm hoping this much-raved-about eye and lip makeup remover does the trick.
Missha Super Aqua Oxygen Micro Visible Deep Cleanser 3mlx10 x2: This bubble cleanser is apparently both effective and has a pH of 5.5 or lower, and if it works, it will be much cheaper than the Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick and a lot easier to find.
Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence 1mlx10 x3: I do not currently have an essence in my routine, which makes me burn through my Mizon Snail Ampoule very quickly. Supposedly this is comparable to the very expensive SK-II essence. Once again, samples proved to be much cheaper ml-by-ml than the full size, so I decided to give it a shot.
Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream: This was supposed to be my replacement of The Precious but this haul was so long in getting to me that I had to cave and get another emergency tube from costsell's ebay shop. Hmmph! As you can see in the next haul, I decided to grab some backups instead of constantly running out and having to overpay for a US source.
Nature Republic Aloe Fresh Sun Milk SPF50+ PA+++ 1mlx10: As you may know if you're a longtime reader, my skin hates sunscreens. I break out within hours if I wear them, and I want to claw my skin off. I'll get into how I figured out I was allergic to chemical sunscreens another day, but it's been a real challenge to find samples of physical-only sunscreens to test my theory, but here it is!
Nature Republic Nature's Deco Cocoon Silk Ball 10 pcs: I saw cocoon silk balls being featured on Get It Beauty as a way to gently massage out blackheads and sebaceous filaments from your nose, etc, and wanted to give them a try.
OST Original Pure Vitamin C20 Serum: Vitamin C serums are not new, but they're new to me. They're supposedly amazing at fading pigmentation, preventing premature aging, sun damage, and a host of other things.
Sidmool Dual Effect BHA Gel: I liked the Mizon AHA serum so much I bought 3 backups, but I am missing a BHA. I have such a problem with clogged pores, and AHA can't penetrate oil but BHA can. I need a BHA to get down into my pores and clear that crud out, but unfortunately this gel is only 0.5% and likely too low to be effective. Sadness. It's next on my testing schedule after the Vit C.
Skin79 White Reviving Skin Radiance Solution 1mlx10 x4: I have repurchased the full size of this a few times (you can read my review here) and I realized that the sample sizes were so much cheaper, so I just bought enough to decant into my old bottle if I choose.
Sooryehan Bichaek Pure Whitening Ample Essence (deluxe sample size): I wanted to check an hanbang whitening option and see if I liked it enough to get a larger volume.
Sooryehan Soo Chunsam Sanghwang Cream (deluxe sample size): Honestly? I got this for the packaging. If you've read my Avecko mini haul post, you'll know sample sachets can get you the same volume of product for a fraction of the cost. However, using samples doesn't give you the luxe feeling of the packaging, so I grabbed a few pretty deluxe samples to decant my samples into.
Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Oil (travel size): I am still searching for a cleansing oil that doesn't break me out, and how can I resist an affordable hanbang sample option?
The History of Whoo Jinyul Cream (deluxe sample size): See above pretty-bottles-for-decanting-expensive-samples justification.
The History of Whoo Soo Yeon Jin Cream 1mlx10: I got this for my mom, as a winter moisturizer.
The History of Whoo Brightening Cleansing Foam 2mlx10: It's tough to find the pH for Asian products, so I grabbed a few foaming cleansers to pH test, searching for an alternative to the Su:m37 Rose Stick.
The History of Whoo Gongjinhyang Cream Cleanser 1mlx10: Since oil cleansers break me out, I wanted to see if cream cleansers would give me the same benefits without the drawbacks. I'll also be sending some to my mom.
The History of Whoo Luxury Lipstick Mini in Coral: Look at the packaging. The full size is $36. Need I say more?
The History of Whoo Wild Ginseng Ampoule Oil 1mlx10: I have been considering adding face oils to my routine to help the ultra dry areas of my combo skin, and will also be sending some up to my mom for winter skincare.
The Saem Kumerahou Calming Washing Foam 1mlx10: See above mentioned pH testing efforts!
Too Cool For School McGirly Rice Scrub 3mlx10: I no longer use physical exfoliators now that I am using a daily chemical one, but there are rare times where I do get build up on my forehead and chin/jaw area that feels like I need a gentle scrub. This one came highly recommended so I thought I'd give it a try.
RoseRoseShop has Free Shipping on all Mizon items, with just a $2.50 tracking fee for your entire order. If you end up buying additional items with a regular shipping cost, that takes the place of the tracking fee. I am a Mizon junkie. I ended up paying less than $14 shipping on the entire haul below, and it arrived in the US from Korea in two days. The only reason it took as long as it did to get here is that it got stuck in US Customs for several days.
3W Clinic Fresh Mask Sheet - 10pcs No.Royal Jelly: Sadly this seems out of stock everywhere other than ebay. 10 sheet masks for $2. Get in my cart.
Baroness Mask Sheet - 10pcs No.Red Ginseng: 10 Ginseng sheet masks for $2. Uh, yep. This is not pictured, as it was missing from my order. I have emailed RRS about it and am awaiting their reply.
Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Cotton Fit No.N02 Light Beige Samples - 10pcs: The 'cotton fit' formula is supposed to be matte/oil controlling, which is a far cry from the 'dewy is better' approach that BB creams have traditionally had. I went with the lightest shade.
Hanyul White Chrysanthemum Powder Serum Sample - 10pcs x5: I admit I am a total sucker for powder products you mix as you go to 'activate' them; for some reason my brain thinks it must be doing some sort of chemical reaction magic which is so much more potent than the stuff that has to sit on a shelf for a long time. The full size is expensive, the sample size is not only perfect for mix-as-you-go usage but also much cheaper ml-by-ml to the full size. I am looking to add at least one serum to my routine so my Snail Ampoule has less work to do (I am going through one every 3ish weeks) and purchased this and the Missha Ampoule below in the hopes they will fill that gap.
Missha Pack Brush: Pack brushes are meant to apply product to your face such as wash-off masks and sleeping packs. I dislike applying sunscreen with my bare hands, so I grabbed a brush for it. I also like the idea of getting a more even layer with the brush than my fingers.
Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule Sample - 10pcs x4: Like the FTE duping SK-II, this is supposedly Missha's version of the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum. The sample size per ml is so affordable, I had to try it out.
Mizon Acence Blemish Out Pink Spot: I have heard mixed things about these 'pink powder' type spot treatments, and while I do like the Acne Stickers to drain nasty breakouts, I'd like to fight them off before they get that far. Plus they are expensive. We'll see if this works!
Mizon AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner x2: Repurchase. I'm already 1/2 through my 2nd bottle, so it's backup time.
Mizon All-In-One Snail Repair Cream (tube) x2: Repurchase, and just in time because I was completely out of this for almost a week before this package arrived. I actually get the tubes instead of the jars, even though it's a smaller amount, because the ml-per-ml cost of the tubes is actually cheaper than the jars. Go figure. Yes, I now cost-per-ml analyze everything I buy.
Mizon Almighty Cold Cream Cleanser: As I mentioned earlier, I am interested in experimenting in oil-type cleansers, hoping to find one that works for me. Cold creams are designed to be put on a dry face like an oil cleanser, but then simply wiped off instead of rinsing, so I think it might be a perfect first cleanse to remove makeup and sunscreen before I use a gentle foaming cleanser like the Su:m37 Rose Stick as my actual cleanser.
Mizon Good Night White Sleeping Mask (tube): After I ran out of my Laneige Ex sleeping pack sample, I realized I had no sleeping packs at all. WINTER IS COMING. I needed to fix that, plus I need all the whitening I can get right now. I purchased the tube size to test before committing to a full size.
Mizon Good Night Wrinkle Care Sleeping Mask: It's never good to put all your sleeping pack eggs in one basket, and this came highly reviewed.
Mizon Mela Defense White Boosting Toner: With the AHA&BHA toner in an unclear production state, it seemed a good idea to investigate other options, plus I have hyperpigmentation coming out the wazoo and I need all whitening hands on deck. This product contains AHA so I'm hoping it will also be a good pH adjuster like the AHA&BHA toner, and contains Niaminicide for whitening oomph.
Mizon Mela Defense White Capsule Essence: As I mentioned, I don't have an essence and I'm looking to expand my essence/serum options in my routine as well as bring as much whitening to bear on my skin as possible.
Mizon Oh!Shy Good Bye Pore Primer: I seem to be having a real issue lately with my BB creams 'breaking' and getting really patchy on my skin and just generally looking like garbage. I believe this is because AHA use has removed the leathery outer shell I used to have, and the very permeable skin underneath is leaching all the moisture from my BB creams like water from a sponge. I have never tried a primer before, but here's hoping it preserves my BB cream finish without congesting my skin.
Mizon Real Oatmeal Cleansing Sherbet: At last, a balm cleanser! I am super excited to try this, as I'm still searching for The Perfect Oil Cleansers and balm cleansers supposedly give you all the benefits of an oil cleanser but without the messiness of oil cleansers.
Mizon Returning Starfish Cream: I liked the samples I had enough to splurge for the mid size, but by the time I got around to redoing this haul, they only had the full size left. I'm excited by the preliminary science available on starfish extract; here's hoping Starfish are the new Snails!
Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream x5: I was tired of paying double the price for emergency tubes from costsell's ebay shop. One of them is for a co worker who was game to try snails. The rest are MINE! (You should see all the empties I have of this stuff.)
Mizon Water Volume Aqua Gel Cream: Since most of my moisturizers were repurchases, and this was on special, I figured I'd give it a try. I like hydrating, rather than rich, moisturizers and I do live in a hot climate.
And with that, we're done! I need a drink. Possibly several. It's taken me all weekend to compile everything, so I may be taking next weekend off from posting to catch up on all the real-life things that I should have gotten done this weekend.
Have you been gripped in the terrifying claws of Haulzilla yourself? Anything you're super eager to try? Leave me a comment or connect with me on facebook or twitter!

I have two tubes of the Mizon SR Gel if you would like them. I think I paid $4.50 for them at the time. Interested? They are just sitting around (unopened) because I have so many other things I need to finish first.
ReplyDeleteAw, that's very sweet! As you can see though, I've hauled enough Snail Gel to last me a few months at least!
DeleteAlso, RoseRoseShop is running a FREE SHIPPING sale on that gel. Tubes are only $4.76. Just thought you'd like to know :)
ReplyDeleteOh they are indeed! Hence me hauling massive amounts of Snail Gel, and all things Mizon from them. :)
DeleteI have been wanting to try that mizon cold cream for about a year and never got around buying it. i dnt know why some things just stay on my to buy list forever. i hope you like it though because then i finally have a reason to buy it :)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the vintage esthetic of the package and the product; the art is so lovely. It's on my list to test after the sherbet/balm cleanser. Here's hoping it's the solution to my oil cleanser problems! :)
DeleteOMG...the lovelies...
ReplyDeleteI seriously love me some haul posts- thank you for taking the time to share all this! I usually only hatch a major haul in December or January (Christmas and my birthday month.) It gestates from spring so inevitably changes dramatically throughout the year. Along the way I do repurchases and will sometimes add in a makeup item or something to reach a free shipping goal. I too am a compulsive researcher- nail polish is my only impulse buy.
Oh and Costsell is my emergency seller too LOL. Or Pretty & Cute if I'm REALLY desperate. (They're physically under an hour away, though I've not been to their brick-and-mortar shop.)

Compulsive researching for the win! The only thing in this collection of hauls that was an impulse buy was the Avecko haul because Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Sticks were discontinued at the time and rarer than unicorns. Thankfully they're slowly popping up in Korea now, and a few vendors (though the price is still ridiculous) so hopefully we will see more of them in the future!
DeleteYou know, I bought the regular blemish bandages (the orange packaging with one face on the front), and it came with tweezers, too.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm wondering if I should hang onto them in case my next one randomly doesn't have them!
I gotta say I *love* how OCD you are; I can totally relate to being angry simply because samples from one haul somehow get mixed up with those from another, months later. :)
ReplyDeleteYour reviews are incredibly useful, too. Thank you for taking all this time to share your goodies and experiences with the rest of us!
Without organization, I think my stash would give me vapours! Hahaha. I have it all packed away in moving boxes right now, and I was able to pack it in them all willy-nilly because I have everything organized in my spreadsheet. Ahhh, delicious organization.
DeleteI have just recently fell down the rabbit hole of skincare and I have not looked back! I love your blogs and they have helped me out tremendously on my journey through korean skincare.
ReplyDeleteI am looking into getting on the snail bandwagon (I just can't overlook the continuous rave reviews) and Mizon snail recovery gel cream caught my eye. I read your review and it pretty much sold me. Would this gel be considered a sleeping pack? If so how can it be used during morning routine? Before sunscreen? I'm just a bit confused on when it would be applied in the multi steps (ah learning about layering has been an unexpected joy!)
Thank you for the kind words :) I use it as a light, non-oily occlusive step- if you go to the Routine and Spreadsheet tab, you can see example routines that have featured it. I have also used it as a sleeping pack by slathering it on really thickly.
